This certificate of registration is intended to allow enforcement personnel to verify vehicle compliance with the law and to allow the carrier to travel in New York State for three days (72-hours). This certificate relieves the carrier from filing returns and the fee covers any highway use tax due. A carrier may not apply for more than ten in a single calendar year. This certificate is not valid for the transportation of gasoline, diesel, home heating fuel #2, etc. |
